Founded in 2016, the SUNY Impact Foundation is a first of its kind entity for SUNY System Administration. Established to facilitate partnerships between the philanthropic community and the SUNY system, the foundation enables private support of high-impact programs. By leveraging investments from the private sector, we can spur innovation beyond what can be funded by New York State. Our efforts will take proven programs to scale, pilot innovation, and secure education of the 1.3 million students SUNY serves every year.
Given institutions within 30 miles of every New Yorker, SUNY has boundless potential to expand educational opportunity and support students through completion and into successful careers. Our vision is to ensure all New Yorkers have access to the high-quality, affordable higher education that is synonymous with the SUNY brand, while establishing clear pathways to degree completion and career success.
